Volunteer!

By thinking back to those who, in each of our lives, made the mundane special, who brought excitement to the everyday, who started us on the right path, we found the ideal positioning, and ideal descriptor for the role of the Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer in a child's life.

Enroll a Child

Every child can benefit from having another caring adult in his/her life. Mentors help children by starting them on the right path, and helping them stay on it. We offer several programs that meet the needs of children within Ozaukee County and fit conveniently in their lives. Children can meet with their mentors on weekends, during their school day, or after-school.

The BBBS of Ozaukee staff takes pride in providing professional screening and support to all of our mentors and children. We assure child safety by completing a thorough enrollment process with each of our volunteer mentors, which includes reference checks, criminal background checks, and an interview. The professional staff maintains consistent contact and support to the mentor, child, and child's family to help the mentoring friendship flourish.
